وفيما يتعلق بموضوع "الموارد الطبيعية المشتركة"، نظرت اللجنة في التقريـر الرابـع للمقـرر الخـاص (A/CN.4/580)، الذي ركز على مسألة العلاقة بين العمل بشأن طبقات المياه الجوفية العابرة للحدود وأي عمل مستقبلي بخصوص مسألة موارد النفط والغاز وأوصت بأن تشرع اللجنة في القراءة الثانية لمشاريع المواد بشأن القانون المتعلق بطبقات المياه الجوفية العابرة للحدود بمعزل عن أي خطوة للنظر في المستقبل في مسألة موارد النفط والغاز.

Concerning the topic “Shared Natural Resources”, the Commission considered the fourth report by the Special Rapporteur (A/CN.4/580), which focused on the relationship between the work on transboundary aquifers and any future work on oil and gas and recommended that the Commission should proceed with the second reading of the draft articles on the law of transboundary aquifers independently of any future consideration of oil and gas.

Pour ce qui est du sujet «Ressources naturelles partagées», la Commission a examiné le quatrième rapport du Rapporteur spécial (A/CN.4/580), axé sur le lien entre les travaux sur les aquifères transfrontières et les travaux futurs sur le pétrole et le gaz, et recommandant à la Commission de procéder à l’examen en deuxième lecture du projet d’articles sur le droit des aquifères transfrontières indépendamment des travaux relatifs au pétrole et au gaz.

Что касается темы "Общие природные ресурсы", то Комиссия рассмотрела четвертый доклад Специального докладчика (A/CN.4/580), посвященный связи между работой над трансграничными водоносными горизонтами и любой будущей работой над нефтью и газом, и рекомендовала Комиссии провести и завершить второе чтение проектов статей о праве трансграничных водоносных горизонтов независимо от какой-либо будущей работы над темой о нефти и газе.
