The highlight of the program will be a gala concert of the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra. Virtuosos from the Russian capital will perform oeuvres inspired by the national culture: classical compositions from the opera “The Fair at Sorochyntsi” by M. P. Mussorgsky; Russian, Arabic and Chinese dances from "The Nutcracker" ballet by P. I. Tchaikovsky; "Hungarian Dance No. 5” by J. Brahms; "Lezginka" and "Sabre Dance" from the "Gayane" ballet by A. I. Khachaturyan; and other famous works.
