Die Spülung der Class-A-Wanne mit Seewasser bewirkt im Tagesgang der Verdunstung und an einzelnen Tagen auch in den Tagessummen eine bessere Angleichung an die Seeverdunstung als die Messung mit einer ungespülten Class-A-Wanne.

The flowing round of the class-A-pan with lake-water makes a better fit to the lake evaporation in the diurnal variation of the evaporation and on some days also in the daily totals than the measurement with a non-rinsed class-A-pan.
