With respect to a statement in the Joint Policy Committee's report to the effect that the expansion of UNICEF assistance to governments in nutrition and associated fields would, in the coming years require, if balance is to be maintained, increasing FAO technical support extending beyond existing resources, supplemented by the additional funds referred to above, the Director-General stated that he had not yet had an opportunity to examine this question fully.
