Apteronotus sp. showed the most frequency of occurrence (37.43 %), followed by Hypostomus sp. (33.28 %) and Rhamdia quelen (30.50 %). Other fish species predated by the otter in less proportion were: Ichthyoelephas longirostris (23.84 %), Ancistrus sp. (22.91 %).

Se reconocieron 13 categorías alimenticias, donde los peces, eran dominantes (11 categorías): Apteronotus sp., presentó la mayor frecuencia de ocurrencia 37,43 %, seguido por Hypostomus 33,28 % y Rhamdia quelen 30,50 %; otras especies de peces depredadas por la nutria en menor proporción, fueron: Ichthyoelephas longirostris 23,84 % y Ancistrus 22,91 %.
