Also claimed is a method, in which primary combustion air can be admitted into the gas chamber of a coke oven chamber, wherein a simultaneous control of the inlet opening valves of the collecting line is allowed, and furthermore a control of the sliding flaps in adaptation to the coking process is made possible.
