a) für die Fortentwicklung eines umfassenden umweltbezogenen Konzepts im Rahmen der Strategie für die Vorbereitung des Beitritts der assoziierten Staaten Mittel- und Osteuropas sorgen, wobei sich die Gemeinschaft über technisch- administrative Zusammenarbeit und Finanzhilfe, z.B. durch Schaffung von Umweltzentren in den einzelnen Ländern, verpflichtet, den beitrittswilligen Staaten zu helfen, zumindest das jetzige Umweltschutzniveau in der EU sowie das Umweltschutzniveau, das in der EU zur Zeit des Beitritts erreicht sein soll, zu erreichen; dabei wird der Arbeit an Formulierung und Durchführung von Umweltaktionsplänen für jedes der Länder im Zusammenhang mit einem etwaigen Beitritt Priorität eingeräumt;

α) η περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη μιας ολοκληρωμένης προσέγγισης απέναντι στα περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα στο πλαίσιο της στρατηγικής για την προετοιμασία των συνδεδεμένων χωρών της Κεντρικής και Ανατολικής Ευρώπης για την ένταξη[semigr ] η Κοινότητα, μέσω της συνεργασίας σε τεχνικό και διοικητικό επίπεδο και μέσω χρηματοοικονομικών ενισχύσεων, π.χ. μέσω της ίδρυσης κέντρων παρακολούθησης του περιβάλλοντος στις ενδιαφερόμενες χώρες, θα δεσμευθεί να βοηθήσει τις χώρες που έχουν υποβάλει αίτηση προσχώρησης, να επιτύχουν τουλάχιστον το ισχύον στην ΕΕ επίπεδο προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος καθώς και το επίπεδο που πρέπει να επιτύχει η ΕΕ έως τη στιγμή της ένταξής τους.

(a) further develop a comprehensive approach in relation to environmental matters in the context of the strategy to prepare the associated countries of Central and Eastern Europe for accession. The Community will, with the aid of technical and administrative cooperation and financial support, e.g. by establishing environmental centres in the countries concerned, commit itself to helping the applicant countries achieve at least the current level of environmental protection in the EU and the level of environmental protection that is to be achieved at the time of their accession. This will include giving higher priority to the drawing up and implementation of environmental action plans for each of the countries with a view to their possible accession;

a) sviluppare ulteriormente una strategia generale relativa ai problemi ambientali nel quadro della politica intesa a preparare i paesi associati dell'Europa centrale orientale in vista della futura adesione, Grazie a una cooperazione tecnico-amministrativa e a un sostegno finanziario, per esempio attraverso la creazione di centri ambientali nei singoli paesi, la Comunità si impegna ad aiutare i paesi candidati a raggiungere quanto meno l'attuale livello di protezione ambientale esistente nell'Unione nonché il livello cui si fosse giunti nell'Unione al momento dell'adesione; in tale contesto verrà data priorità alla formulazione e attuazione di piani d'azione ambientali per ciascuno dei paesi in relazione a un'eventuale adesione.
