The invention relates to a protective helmet provided with a helmet shell (3) which, during the helmet use, surrounds at least partially a user's head except a face area, a chin guard (1), which, during the helmet use, surrounds the lower parts of the face area of the helmet user and a visor (4) preferably pivotally positioned on the helmet shell (3) and on the chin guard for forming an opening for the face between the helmet shell (3) and the chin guard (1), wherein said chin guard (1) is provided with two sections (1a,1b), which are movably mounted on the helmet shell (3).

L'invention concerne un casque de protection comprenant une coque (3) qui, lorsque le casque est porté, entoure au moins en partie la tête d'un porteur dudit casque, à l'exception de la zone faciale, une mentonnière (1) qui, lorsque le casque est porté, entoure les parties inférieures de la zone faciale du porteur de casque, ainsi qu'une visière (4), disposée de préférence de manière pivotante sur la coque du casque (3) et la mentonnière (1). Ladite mentonnière (1) présente deux sections (1a, 1b), mobiles l'une par rapport à l'autre.
