After the impasse on the selection of the new incoming IPMR representative in the municipal council of La Trinidad, members of the Council of Elders, La Trinidad Indigenous Peoples Organization (LTIPO), outgoing IPMR Marcelo Abella, Incoming IPKR Pendon Thompson, councilor Teddy Quintos and councilor Arthur Shontugan gathered for peaceful talks on the customary way and came to agreement that a “sobasob” ritual be made on Oct. 21 at Wangal Barangay Hall for peaceful settlements of the dispute.
