Und indem ich Sie alle, die Sie hier zugegen sind, begrüße, danke ich für die vielen Anstrengungen und für das Engagement in einer Sache, die uns nicht unberührt lassen darf: im Kampf gegen den Hunger, unter dem viele unserer Brüder und Schwestern leiden.

In offering a warm greeting to all of you, I express my gratitude for your many efforts and commitments in service of a cause that challenges us all: combatting the hunger from which so many of our brothers and sisters are suffering.
