Amperemeter should never mark a charge higher than 30 Amp. unless the charge switch points to 1; so if the charger is connected and the switch is pointing to 2, 3, or 4 and the charge is higher than 30 Amp., you should switch down to point 1. After a few minutes had elapsed, you will be able to switch up again to higher points.

En ningún caso excepto en el punto 1 el amperímetro deberá marcar una carga mayor a 30 Amp; o sea que si al comenzar la carga la llave selectora se encuentra en los puntos 2,3, ó 4 y la carga supera los 30 amperes se deberá bajar la llave al punto 1 y luego de unos minutos se podrá subir nuevamente a los puntos subsiguientes; siempre respetando cable rojo [+] y negro [-] a los respectivos bornes de la batería.
