본 발명은 초중량물인 선박, 콘크리트 케이슨, 교량, 건축물, 기계장치인 고하중물을 용이하게 전,후진 이동 할 수 있는 고하중물 이동 지지장치 및 그를 이용한 고하중물 이동방법에 관한 것으로; 종래기술의 고하중 구조물의 전,후진 이동 방식은 지면에 다수개의 지지대(SUPPORTER)를 설치, 배열하고 상기 지지대의 상부에서 고하중 구조물을 축조 및, 고하중 구조물이 원하는 장소로 이동이 완료된 후에도 상기 구조물은 이동된 장소에 사전에 설치, 배열된 다수개의 지지대 상부에 적층 됨으로 인한, 상기 다수개의 지지대의 제작 및 지면 설치로 인한 축조장의 설치면적이 과다하게 소요 되었으며, 원가 상승 및 투하공수 증가, 작업성 저하가 발생되고 있다.
