Ifølge FAG betyder denne pladsmangel kombineret med den måde, hvorpå anlæggene i lufthavnen er placeret, at to tredjedele af standpladserne til fly ikke er i direkte forbindelse med udgangene, hvilket øger trafikken mellem flyene og terminalerne og dermed også skaber yderligere behov for plads dels til selve trafikken, dels til parkering af de nødvendige køretøjer.

According to FAG, the lack of space combined with the configuration of the airport installations means that two-thirds of the aircraft positions are not gate parking positions, thus increasing the necessary traffic between the positions and the terminals, which in itself increases the need for space for traffic and for the parking of mobile equipment.
