Dedicated to telling the rich history of the Kawasaki neighborhood, Kawasaki Shoninkan was established in 2002 in the buildings where Ogawa Saketen ran a liquor wholesale business for over 300 years. In 1999, Ogawa Saketen, closed for good and after that, the historical buildings were donated to Ise City for restoration.
