Dr. David Korenfeld, recently elected Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council of the International Hydrological Programme of UNESCO and General Director of the National Water Agency of Mexico, CONAGUA, asked to redouble efforts for the recognition of the importance of water in climate change within the Conference of the Parties and also called for a dedicated goal for water in the post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda.

El Dr. David Korenfeld, elegido recientemente Presidente del Consejo Intergubernamental del Programa Hidrológico Internacional de la UNESCO y actual Director General de la Comisión Nacional del Agua de México, CONAGUA, pidió redoblar los esfuerzos para el reconocimiento de la importancia del agua en el cambio climático, durante la Conferencia de las Partes e hizo un llamado hacia un objetivo específico en materia del agua hacia el Programa para el Desarrollo Sostenible post-2015.
