The students break down the grand narrative of the First World War into small personal narratives, making “the war to end all wars” understandable today and using a handful of phrases each day to,open up a new viewpoint on today's political and social priorities – through the eyes of the soldiers, nurses, school pupils, artists, farmers and activists who all equally hoped that the war would soon be over for them.

Los estudiantes desmontan la gran narrativa de la Primera Guerra Mundial dividiéndola en pequeños relatos personales, haciendo que «la guerra para terminar la guerra» resulte comprensible hoy y usando un puñado de frases cada día para abrir una nueva perspectiva sobre las prioridades actuales en materia política y social, a través de los ojos de soldados, enfermeras, escolares, artistas, agricultores y activistas que compartían un anhelo: que la guerra acabase pronto.
