تهيب بإدارة شؤون الإعلام أن تواصل النظر في سياساتها وأنشطتها المتعلقة بصون محفوظاتها الإذاعية والتلفزيونية والفوتوغرافية على المدى الطويل، وأن تتخذ إجراءات، في حدود الموارد المتاحة، لضمان صون هذه المحفوظات وإتاحتها، وأن تقدم تقريرا بهذا الشأن إلى لجنة الإعلام في دورتها الثامنة والعشرين؛

fordert die Hauptabteilung Presse und Information auf, ihre Politik und ihre Tätigkeit betreffend die dauerhafte Erhaltung ihrer Hörfunk-, Fernseh- und Fotoarchive weiter zu untersuchen, im Rahmen der verfügbaren Ressourcen Maßnahmen zu treffen, um die Erhaltung dieser Archivbestände und ihre Zugänglichkeit sicherzustellen, und dem Informationsausschuss auf seiner achtundzwanzigsten Tagung Bericht zu erstatten;

Calls upon the Department of Public Information to continue to examine its policies and activities regarding the durable preservation of its radio, television and photographic archives, to take action, within existing resources, to ensure that such archives are preserved and are accessible and to report to the Committee on Information at its twenty-eighth session;

Insta al Departamento de Información Pública a que siga examinando sus políticas y actividades para la preservación duradera de sus archivos de radio, televisión y fotografía y que, dentro de los límites de los recursos existentes, adopte medidas para asegurar que esos archivos se preserven y sean accesibles, y que informe a ese respecto al Comité de Información en su 28o período de sesiones;
