When a diving related disease is suspected and/or there are doubts about whether or not to treat with HBOT, the attending physician should contact a specialized dving center,; in the Netherlands the Royal Navy Diving Medical Centre (DMC) in Den Helder and the department of Hyperbaric Medicine at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in Amsterdam.
