Desde que mi abuelo nos dejó hace algo más de un año, una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer cuando voy a Autol es ir a su huerto y ver como mi padre con la ayuda de mi madre, no solo siguen llevando lo que mi abuelo hizo con tanta ilusión y esfuerzo, sino que cada vez mejoran aquello y lo hacen crecer más y más. Y es cuánta verdad tiene lo de que uno no se da cuenta de lo que tiene hasta que deja de tenerlo, y si no mirar el precioso entorno en el que mis padres tienen tanto viñas, como huertos, árboles frutales, casillas... Y no solo el entorno, lo de los productos ya ni te cuento, cada vez que voy me vengo cargada de verduras y fruta, y es que en la Rioja se come mucha verdura.
