কিউ এম জামান চলচ্চিত্র উন্নয়ন কর্পোরেশন (এফডিসি) এর প্রথম চিত্রগ্রাহক ছিলেন। তাছাড়া তিনি প্রথম বাংলা পূর্ণদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র মুখ ও মুখোশ (১৯৫৬)- অনেক ছবির চিত্রগ্রাহক ছিলেন।

In 1956 she got married to QM Zaman, the first chief cameraman of Film Development Corporation (FDC) of the then East Pakistan and the cameramen of numerous movie include the first Bangla full-length commercial film Mukh O Mukhosh (Face and Mask, 1956).
