본 발명은 R, G, B 픽셀 외에 적외선 픽셀을 구비하는 이미지센서에서 R, G, B 픽셀의 칼라필터와 적외선 픽셀의 필터가 서로 다른 단차를 갖도록 한 분광특성이 강화된 적외선 픽셀을 구비하는 CMOS 이미지센서 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 각각의 픽셀에 따른 칼라필터 및 적외선 필터가 서로 다른 수직 단차를 갖도록 형성됨으로써 칼라필터 및 적외선필터 형성 시 재료의 특성에 따른 영향을 받지 않고 필터의 두께를 임의로 조절하여 크로스토크 특성을 개선시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
