The invention relates to a method of, and system for, controlling an in-vehicle temperature comfort device heater by obtaining from a user a desired temperature setting for the comfort device and obtaining a current temperature of the comfort device, subtracting the current temperature from the desired temperature yielding a temperature difference, and multiplying this temperature difference by a numeric calibration factor to produce a PWM signal for controlling the duty cycle to the comfort device heater.

On soustrait ladite température courante de la température voulue et on multiplie la différence de température obtenue par un facteur d'étalonnage numérique, ce qui produit un signal à modulation d'impulsions en largeur (PWM) pour réguler le cycle de travail en fonction du chauffage du dispositif de confort.
