أكدت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها # ، على أن الإطار الاستراتيجي ينبغي أن يشكل توجيها رئيسيا للسياسات في الأمم المتحدة وأساسا لتخطيط البرامج والميزنة والرصد والتقييم، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يدرج في مقدمة ملزمات الميزانية معلومات عن الولايات الجديدة و/أو المنقحة التي توافق عليها الجمعية العامة بعد اعتماد الخطة البرنامجية لفترة السنتين

In its resolution # the General Assembly affirmed that the strategic framework should constitute the principal policy directive of the United Nations and serve as the basis for programme planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and requested the Secretary-General to include in the introduction of the budget fascicles information on the new and/or revised mandates approved by the Assembly subsequent to the adoption of the biennial programme plan
