Distinguished Co-chairs, My delegation believes the counter-terrorism strategy proposed by the Secretary-General is a starting point from which to articulate and execute practical and concrete actions to prevent terrorist acts, identify and eliminate sources of financing of terrorist organizations, destroy their infrastructures, arrest and try their members, and prosecute the crimes that facilitate and finance terrorism.

La estrategia antiterrorista expuesta por el Secretario General en su Informe constituye, en concepto de nuestra delegación, una base a partir del cual se pueden articular y ejecutar las acciones prácticas y concretas destinadas a prevenir los actos terroristas, identificar y extinguir las fuentes de financiación de las organizaciones terroristas, desvertebrar sus estructuras, detener y procesar a sus integrantes y perseguir los delitos que facilitan y financian el terrorismo.
