243ZK. Election of members of board . (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any law made by the Legislature of a State, the election of a board shall be conducted before the expiry of the term of the board so as to ensure that the newly elected members of the board assume office immediately on the expiry of the term of the office of members of the outgoing board.

மாநிலம் ஒன்றின் சட்டமன்றத்தால் இயற்றப்பட்ட ஒரு சட்டத்தின் வகையம் எதுவும், நாடாளுமன்றம் தனக்குள்ள தகுதிறனைக் கொண்டு இயற்றும் சட்டம் ஒன்றின் வகையம் பொறுத்து நிலவுறும் சட்டம் ஒன்றின் வகையம் எதற்கும் முரணாக இருக்குமாயின், எதற்கும் அல்லது ஒருங்கியல் பட்டியலில் எண்ணிடப்பட்டுள்ள பொருட்பாடுகளில் ஒன்றைப் நாடாளுமன்றம் இயற்றிய சட்டம், அந்த மாநிலச் சட்டமன்றம் இயற்றிய சட்டத்திற்கு முன்போ பின்போ நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், அச்சட்டமே அல்லது, நேர்வுக்கேற்ப, நிலவுறும் சட்டமே (2)ஆம் கூறின் வகையங்களுக்கு உட்பட்டு, மேலோங்கி நிற்கும். அந்த மாநிலச் சட்டமன்றத்தால் இயற்றப்பட்ட சட்டம் அவ்வாறு முரணாக உள்ள அளவிற்கு, இல்லாநிலையது ஆகும்.
