Since November 2011, the indigenous Ikojts people of San Dionisio del Mar has been enduring the pressure by transnational companies and the Inter American Development Bank who try to impose the biggest wind mega Project in Latin America eliminating the main source of food and survival for the Huaves and Zapotecos peoples, fishing; massively destroying its flora and fauna, desecrating ancestral ceremonial sites and visually and noisily polluting the territories of the indigenous communities living in those areas.

Desde noviembre de 2011, el pueblo indígena Ikojts de San Dionisio del Mar ha estado bajo la presión de empresas transnacionales y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, quienes pretenden imponer el megaproyecto eólico más grande de América Latina arrebatando la principal fuente de alimentación y sobrevivencia de los pueblos huaves y zapotecos, la pesca; allí habitan.
