Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sensorelement für eine Sensorvorrichtung sowie ein Kohleschleifstück mit einem Sensorelement, insbesondere zur Energieübertragung von einem Fahrdraht auf ein Fahrzeug, wobei das Sensorelement aus einem fluiddichten Rohrprofil ( 18) gebildet ist, welches in einer Längsausnehmung eines Kohleschleifstücks anordbar ist, wobei an dem Rohrprofil zumindest eine Sollbruchstelle ausgebildet ist.
