The Minister went on to say that a draft law will be adopted regulating the functioning and structure of the fund, adding that the Sovereign Fund for Development and Investment will contribute both to Romania’s efforts to gain the status of an emerging market for its domestic capital market by increasing liquidities on the Bucharest stock exchange, as well as to increasing the level of absorption of non-reimbursable EU funds, by means of ensuring the co-funding financial sources of investment projects.

También será aprobada una ley sobre el funcionamiento efectivo de este fondo, ha precisado Petrescu. El Fondo contribuirá tanto a los esfuerzos de Rumanía de obtener el estatuto de mercado emergente para el mercado autóctono de capital a través del crecimiento de la liquidez en la Bolsa de Valores de Bucarest así como al aumento del grado de absorción de los fondos europeos no reembolsables, ha añadido el ministro rumano de Economía.
