A number of responses were also positive about the general approach adopted to disability equality in the UK, for example, in respect of steps taken to improve access to justice; improving accessibility of the public transport and the built environment; the legal framework in the UK and the Equality Act 2010; and the intention to develop a Disability Strategy.
