Section::::Rules governing the hoisting of the flag. The flag is hoisted on all Egyptian governmental buildings on Fridays, national holidays, the opening session of the House of Representatives, and any other occasions as determined by the Minister of the Interior. The flag is hoisted daily on border posts, customs buildings, Egyptian consulates and embassies overseas on Revolution Day (July 23), and other national holidays, as well as during the visit of the Egyptian President to the country hosting the diplomatic mission.

Section::::ข้อบังคับในการใช้ ชัก และแสดงธง. ธงชาติอียิปต์จะต้องมีการชักขึ้นประจําอาคารสํานักงานของทางราชการอียิปต์ในทุกวันศุกร์ ในวันหยุดราชการ วันเปิดการประชุมสภาแห่งชาติ เนื่องในโอกาสอื่นๆ ตามแต่กระทรวงมหาดไทยของอียิปต์จะกําหนด สําหรับด่านรักษาการณ์ชายแดน อาคารศุลกากร สถานกงสุลและสถานเอกอัครราชทูตของอิยิปต์จะต้องชักธงชาติเป็นประจําทุกวัน โดยสถานกงสุลและสถานเอกอัครราชทูตจะต้องประดับธงชาติในวันที่ 23 กรกฎาคม ซึ่งเป็นวันที่ระลึกแห่งการปฏิวัติอียิปต์
