وفي ضوء الدراسة المتعمقة التي أجراها الأمين العام عن قضية العنف ضد الأطفال، والاستبيان الذي وُجِّه إلى الحكومات في هذا الصدد، تلاحظ اللجنة مع التقدير الردود الخطية الواردة من الدولة الطرف ومشاركة ممثلين من الصين القارية ومن منطقة هونغ كونغ الإدارية الخاصة في المشاورة الإقليمية لشرق آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، المعقودة في تايلند من 14 إلى 16 حزيران/يونيه 2005.

In the context of the Secretary-General’s in-depth study on the question of violence against children and the related questionnaire to Governments, the Committee acknowledges with appreciation the written replies of the State party and the participation of representatives from mainland China and the Hong Kong SAR in the Regional Consultation for East Asia and the Pacific held in Thailand from 14 to 16 June 2005.

En el marco del estudio a fondo del Secretario General sobre la cuestión de la violencia contra los niños y el cuestionario conexo dirigido a los gobiernos, el Comité agradece las repuestas del Estado Parte presentadas por escrito y la participación de representantes procedentes de la China continental y la RAE de Hong Kong en la Consulta Regional para Asia oriental y el Pacífico que se celebró en Tailandia del 14 al 16 de junio de 2005.

Dans le contexte de l’étude approfondie réalisée par le Secrétaire général sur la question de la violence dont sont victimes les enfants et du questionnaire s’y rapportant qui a été adressé aux gouvernements, le Comité accueille avec satisfaction les réponses écrites de l’État partie et la participation de représentants de la Chine continentale et de la RAS de Hong Kong à la Consultation régionale pour l’Asie orientale et le Pacifique qui s’est tenue en Thaïlande du 14 au 16 juin 2005.
