The present invention relates to: a resin composition for manufacturing transparent marble chips of high specific gravity containing halogenated epoxy resin; a method for manufacturing the marble chips with various patterns having high heat resistance, chemical resistance, high specific gravity and high transparency using the resin composition; and an artificial marble which is manufactured using the marble chips.
