Chogyal Rinpoche’s destiny was defined at his birth. Born in 1985 in a Buddhist family, the Rinpoche showed signs of possessing divine wisdom as a toddler — even before gaining the ability to speak. In pursuit of realizing the ultimate intention of his life, he entered monastic life at the age of five. Rumtek monastery, at Sikkim, laid as the first stepping stone of his spiritual journey where he went on to live a monastic life for another ten more years practicing the basics of Buddhist rituals. Upon completion of the monastic studies, Chogyal Rinpoche developed a keen interest in philosophy.

छोग्याल रिम्पोचेको जन्म ई. सं. १९८५, नेपालमा भएको थियो । उनको बिहारिक जिवन ५ बर्षको उमेरमा नै सिक्किमको रुम्तेक तथा जुर्मङ बिहारबाट शुभआरम्भ भएको हो । जहाँ उनले १० बर्ष सम्म ध्यान र बज्रयानी बिधीको अभ्यास गर्नु भएको थियो । त्यस पश्चात श्री दिवाकर बुद्धिस्ट ईन्स्टिच्युट जोङ्गसर बुद्धिस्ट फिल्लिपिन्स मा १० बर्ष अध्ययन गर्नु भएका थिए । २०१० मा उहाँले बुद्धिस्ट दर्शन विषयमा खेन्पो डिग्री प्राप्त गरी स्नातकोत्तर गर्नुभयो ।
