To end the violence and protect refugees, humanitarian personnel and the Government had taken several measures, including tripling the number of police officers, enhancing camp management, setting up the Security Partnership Project with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, profiling camp residents and raising awareness about sexual and gender-based violence.

Para acabar con la violencia y proteger a los refugiados, el personal humanitario y el Gobierno han adoptado distintas medidas, como triplicar el número de agentes de policía, mejorar la gestión de los campamentos, establecer el Proyecto de Alianza en Favor de la Seguridad en colaboración con la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados, y llevar a cabo actividades de concienciación sobre la violencia sexual y de género.

Pour mettre un terme à la violence et protéger les réfugiés, le personnel humanitaire et le Gouvernement ont pris plusieurs mesures et ont en particulier triplé le nombre d’agents de police, renforcé la gestion du camp, mis en place le projet de partenariat en matière de sécurité avec le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies pour les réfugiés, établi le profil des résidents du camp et sensibilisé aux actes de violence sexuelle et sexiste.

В целях прекращения насилия и защиты беженцев гуманитарный персонал и правительство страны приняли ряд мер, в том числе увеличили в три раза численность сотрудников полиции, усовершенствовали систему управления лагерем, разработали проект партнерства в области безопасности совместно с Верховным комиссаром Организации Объединенных Наций по делам беженцев, провели анкетирование жителей лагеря и повысили осведомленность о сексуальном и гендерном насилии.
