According to the present invention, a method for producing the polythiol compound can also be provided, said method being characterized by comprising the steps of: reacting a polyalcohol with thiourea to prepare a thiuronium salt; and adding at least one base selected from the group consisting of hydrazine (hydrate), ammonia and an amine and an inorganic base (that is different from hydrazine (hydrate) or ammonia) to the thiuronium salt in the presence of an organic solvent to hydrolyze the thiuronium salt.

La présente invention concerne également un procédé de production du composé de polythiol, ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : la mise en réaction d'un polyalcool avec de la thiourée pour préparer un sel de thiuronium ; et l'ajout d'au moins une base choisie dans le groupe constitué par l'hydrazine (hydrate), l'ammoniac et une amine et une base inorganique (qui est différente de l'hydrazine (hydrate) ou l'ammoniac) au sel de thiuronium en présence d'un solvant organique pour hydrolyser le sel de thiuronium.
