পিআইবি কলকাতার উপ-নির্দেশক শ্রী অজয় মহমিয়া সারা দেশে জেলা পর্যায়ে সাংবাদিক ও সংবাদকর্মীদের জন্য এই ধরণের কর্মশালা আয়োজনের লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্যের কথা বিবৃত করেন। তিনি জানান, পিআইবি-র উদ্যোগে সারা বছর ধরেই দেশের বিভিন্ন জেলায় এই ধরণের কর্মশালা আয়োজিত হচ্ছে।

Answering media queries and issues raised by the district Press Club secretary , Shri Pradip Sarkar, the Deputy Director of PIB, Kolkata, Smt Chitra Gupta clarified that one line motto of such workshop is to enlighten the masses through media with regard to their welfare measures taken by the Union Government.
