Por esta razón, aunque sólo existe constancia de que Terés fue catedrático en los cursos académicos citados, es muy probable que también rigiera la segunda o nominalista cátedra de Filosofía en 1568-1569 y la primera o realista cátedra de Súmulas en 1569-1570. De esta manera, habría completado un sexenio como catedrático en la Facultad de Artes desde 1566 hasta 1572.
