The present invention relates to a self-diameter-enlarging pile and a method for constructing same, the self-diameter-enlarging pile allowing the formation of an enlarged pile part and diameter enlargement/cutting by itself without a diameter-enlarging drill and allowing the formation of the enlarged pile part in a desired size in solid rock layers as well as earth and sand layers, thereby reliably improving bearing capacity.
