When your Aspiration Meter reaches its maximum level, your Sim will be awarded with the Platinum aspiration, which means that he or she will ignore the Mood meter (when your Mood meter is lower than half, your Sim will refuse to do anything that requires effort- like studying, for example) and will keep on doing whatever you want him/her to.
