ويعمل المجلس كهيئة استشارية وتداولية تتمثل وظيفتها الرئيسية في تنفيذ التدابير التي تُتخذ لمعالجة المشاكل السياسية والقانونية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية وغيرها من المشاكل المتصلة بعودة تتر القرم وإعادة توطينهم، وإعداد المقترحات بشأن سبل معالجة هذه المشاكل وعرضها على الرئيس، والمشاركة في صياغة مشاريع القوانين والبرامج الحكومية التي تتناول هذه المسائل.

The Council is a consultative and deliberative body which has as its main function the implementation of measures to tackle political, legal, social, economic, cultural and other problems associated with the return and resettlement of Crimean Tatars, the preparation and submission of proposals to the President regarding ways of tackling these problems and participation in the drawing up of draft legislation and State programmes dealing with these matters.

El Consejo es un órgano consultivo y asesor que se ocupa fundamentalmente de la solución de problemas políticos y jurídicos, socioeconómicos, culturales y de otro tipo relacionados con el regreso y la instalación de los tártaros de Crimea; la preparación y presentación de propuestas al Presidente de Ucrania sobre las formas de resolver esos problemas, y la participación en la elaboración de proyectos de ley y de programas estatales en relación con estas cuestiones.

Ce Conseil est un organe consultatif dont la principale fonction est de contribuer au règlement des problèmes politiques, juridiques, sociaux, économiques, culturels et autres liés au retour et à la réinstallation des Tatars de Crimée, d’élaborer et de présenter au Président des propositions dans ce sens, et de participer à l’élaboration de projets de loi et de programmes d’État destinés à résoudre ces problèmes.

Совет является консультативно-совещательным органом, основными задачами которого является реализация мероприятий по решению политико-правовых, социально-экономических, культурных и других проблем, связанных с возвращением и обустройством крымских татар, подготовка и внесение предложений Президенту Украины относительно путей решения этих проблем, участие в разработке проектов законодательных актов Украины и государственных программ по данным вопросам.
