A method of controlling a single-phase permanent-magnet electric machine, the method comprising: sequentially exciting and freewheeling a winding of the electric machine, wherein the winding is excited by an excitation voltage in advance of zero-crossings of back emf in the winding by an advance angle, and the winding is freewheeled over a freewheel angle; and varying the advance angle and the freewheel angle in response to changes in the excitation voltage.

L'invention concerne un procédé de commande d'une machine électrique monophasée à aimant permanent qui consiste: à exciter et à mettre en roue libre de manière séquentielle un bobinage de la machine électrique, ce bobinage étant excité par une tension d'excitation en avance sur les croisements zéro de la force contre-électromotrice dans le bobinage par un angle d'avance, et le bobinage est mis en roue libre selon un angle en roue libre; et à faire varier l'angle d'avance et l'angle en roue libre en réponse aux changements de tension d'excitation.
