It is a light brown colour, smooth and shiny, with quite a firm consistency and an unbroken outer cover, which is filled completely with the mixture and wrapped tightly around it, boiled complete then tied with red and white cotton thread and with a double knot. The thread is wrapped round it every 3 cm.
