ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أنَّ على فريق العمل المعني بالأجسام القريبة من الأرض أن يواصل دعم عمل الشبكة الدولية للإنذار بخطر الكويكبات والفريق الاستشاري المعني بالتخطيط للبعثات الفضائية على المدى القريب من أجل تيسير تفاعلهما مع اللجنة ومع الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية التي لا تشارك في هاتين الجهتين المعنيتين بالأجسام القريبة من الأرض.

The Subcommittee noted that the Action Team on Near-Earth Objects should continue to support the work of IAWN and SMPAG in the short term in order to facilitate their interaction with the Committee and Governments, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations that were not participating in those NEO bodies.

La Subcomisión observó que el Equipo de Acción sobre Objetos Cercanos a la Tierra debía seguir apoyando a corto plazo la labor de la red internacional de alerta de asteroides y del grupo asesor para la planificación de misiones espaciales, a fin de facilitar su interacción con la Comisión y los gobiernos, las organizaciones intergubernamentales y las organizaciones no gubernamentales que no participaban en esos órganos relacionados con los NEO.

Подкомитет отметил, что Инициативной группе по объектам, сближающимся с Землей, в краткосрочной перспективе следует продолжать поддерживать работу МСОА и КГПКМ в целях содействия их взаимодействию с Комитетом и правительствами, межправительственными организациями и неправительственными организациями, которые не участвуют в работе этих органов по проблеме ОСЗ.
