বাংলাদেশ উন্মুক্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপনের বিধানকরণকল্পে প্রণীত আইন। যেহেতু সকল পর্যায়ের শিক্ষায় জনগণের প্রবেশাধিকার উন্মুক্ত ও ত্বরান্বিত করবার উদ্দেশ্যে একটি উন্মুক্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপনের বিধান করা সমীচীন ও প্রয়োজনীয়. সেহেতু এতদ্দ্বারা নিম্নরূপ আইন করা হল:-

An Act made to provide for the establishment of the Bangladesh Open University Whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of an open university for the purpose of affording the poeple free and quick access to education up to all standards. Now, therefore. it is herewith enacted as follows-
