تصر على أهمية أعمال التحقيق التي تضطلع بها اللجنة الوطنية للحقيقة والعدل بالنسبة لمكافحة الإفلات من العقوبة وبالنسبة لتنفيذ عملية انتقالية حقيقية وفعالة ولتحقيق المصالحة الوطنية، وتحث حكومة هايتي بقوة مرة أخرى على اتخاذ إجراءات قضائية ضد مرتكبي انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان الذين حددت لجنة الحقيقة والعدل هوياتهم، وعلى إنشاء مرافق فعالة لتقديم الدعم للضحايا، وبخاصة النساء والأطفال وأفراد أسرهم؛ وفي هذا السياق بالتحديد تؤكد من جديد التوصيات الواردة في تقرير الخبير المستقل للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعني بحالة حقوق الإنسان في هايتي؛

Insists on the importance, for combating impunity and for the realization of a genuine and effective process of transition and national reconciliation, of the investigations undertaken by the National Commission for Truth and Justice, and once again strongly urges the Government of Haiti to institute legal proceedings against perpetrators of human rights violations identified by the National Commission and to create effective facilities for providing support to the victims, in particular women, children and members of their families, and in this specific context reiterates the recommendations contained in the report of the independent expert of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Haiti

Insiste en la importancia de las investigaciones emprendidas por la Comisión Nacional de la Verdad y la Justicia para combatir la impunidad y conseguir que el proceso de transición y reconciliación nacional sea auténtico y efectivo, y exhorta de nuevo enérgicamente al Gobierno de Haití a que someta a juicio a los autores de las violaciones de los derechos humanos denunciadas por la Comisión Nacional y cree mecanismos eficaces de apoyo a las víctimas, en particular a las mujeres, los niños, y sus familiares y, a este respecto, reitera las recomendaciones que figuran en el informe del experto independiente de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos sobre la situación de los derechos humanos en Haití
