ولتوفير الدعم للوحدات العسكرية الإضافية التي نشرت في شرق البلد، يُقترح أيضا إنشاء 6 وظائف لمساعدي اتصالات (خدمات ميدانية)، يجري توزيعها على النحو التالي: ووظيفتان في غوما، واثنتان في عَنتببي، واثنتان في بوكافو يكون شاغلوها مسؤولين عن توفير الدعم في مجالات إدارة المخازن، وتركيب وصيانة المعدات الخاصة، والتعافي من الكوارث واستمرارية العمل، واتصالات المسافات الطويلة عالية التردد، فضلا عن إنشاء 10 وظائف لفنيي اتصالات (من متطوعي الأمم المتحدة) يوزع شاغلوها على النحو التالي: اثنان في بوكافو، وواحد في كيسانغاني، واثنان في بونيا، وواحد في لوبومباشي، واثنان في عَنتببي، وواحد في غوما، وواحد في بيني، ليكونوا مسؤولين عن تقديم المساعدة في مجال صيانة شبكة الهياكل الأساسية لاتصالات البعثة.

To support the additional military contingents deployed in the east of the country, it is also proposed to establish 3 Movement Control Officer (P-3) posts, the incumbents of which would be deployed to Bukavu, Bunia and the logistics base in Entebbe, Uganda, and would be responsible for the regional coordination and management of the multimodal movement of military personnel and associated equipment, as well as 6 Movement Control Assistant (Field Service) posts, the incumbents of which would be deployed, 1 each to Bukavu, Bujumbura, Bunia and Goma and 2 to the logistics base in Entebbe, and would be responsible for the coordination and supervision of passenger and cargo operations at the airports by the Mission’s assets and commercial contractors.

Para apoyar a los contingentes adicionales desplegados al este del país, también se propone crear 6 puestos de Auxiliar de comunicaciones (Servicio Móvil), cuyos titulares se desplegarían 2 en Goma, 2 en Entebbe (Uganda) y 2 en Bukavu, y cuya labor sería asistir en la gestión de almacenes, en la instalación y el mantenimiento de equipo especial, en la recuperación después de desastres, en la continuidad de las actividades y en el ámbito de las comunicaciones de largo alcance y alta frecuencia. Se propone asimismo crear 10 puestos de Técnico de Comunicaciones (Voluntarios de las Naciones Unidas), cuyos titulares se desplegarían 2 en Bukavu, 1 en Kisangani, 2 en Bunia, 1 en Lubumbashi, 2 en Entebbe, 1 en Goma y 1 en Beni, y asistirían en el mantenimiento de la red de infraestructura de comunicaciones de la Misión.

Для обслуживания дополнительных воинских контингентов, развернутых на востоке страны, предлагается также учредить 6 должностей помощников по вопросам связи (категория полевой службы) (2 должности в Гоме, 2 в Энтеббе, Уганда, и 2 в Букаву), с тем чтобы занимающие эти должности сотрудники отвечали за оказание помощи в управлении складским хозяйством, монтаж и эксплуатацию специального оборудования, восстановление работы после сбоев, вызванных чрезвычайными обстоятельствами, и обеспечение бесперебойного функционирования, а также за дальнюю связь в диапазоне ВЧ, и 10 должностей техников по вопросам связи (добровольцы Организации Объединенных Наций) (2 в Букаву, 1 в Кисангани, 2 в Буниа, 1 в Лубумбаши, 2 в Энтеббе, 1 в Гоме и 1 в Бени), с тем чтобы сотрудники на этих должностях отвечали за оказание помощи в эксплуатации используемой Миссией инфраструктуры связи.
