The effects of centrally administered reserpine on the blood pressure, on the carotid reflexes [carotid occlusion reflex (COR); its baroreceptor and chemoreceptor component; chemoreceptor reflex] and on the catecholamine content of brain, heart, and aorta were investigated in cats under chloralose anesthesia.
