The aim of the said Regulation is to do away with the, often late, return of Voucher No. 2 to the Customs offices of entry en route or central Customs offices, thus making the sending of pre-notifications largely redundant.

Ce règlement a pour objet d’en finir avec la pratique trop répandue consistant à retourner avec retard le volet no 2 aux bureaux de douane d’entrée (de passage) ou aux bureaux de douane centraux, rendant ainsi l’envoi de notifications préalables largement inutile.
