A monoester compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 to R3 independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms) is reacted with SF4 in the presence of hydrofluoric acid anhydride (HF) in the amount that is 1.5 to 100 times the weight of the monoester compound, thereby producing a 3,3,3-trifluoro-2,2-dialkylpropionic acid ester represented by formula (II).

Un composé de monoester représenté par la formule (I) (dans laquelle R1 à R3 représentent indépendamment un groupe alkyle ayant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone) est mis à réagir avec SF4 en présence d'un anhydride d'acide fluorhydrique (HF) en une quantité de 1,5 à 100 fois le poids du composé de monoester, pour obtenir ainsi l'ester d'acide 3,3,3-trifluoro-2,2-dialkylpropionique selon l'invention représenté par la formule (II).
