Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Kalibrierung einer TOF-Kamera (1) in Bezug auf eine beliebig geformte Oberfläche (3) eines Bauteiles, wobei mittels der TOF-Kamera (1) eine Entfernungsinformation der TOF-Kamera (1) zu der Oberfläche (3) oder zumindest zu einem Abschnitt der Oberfläche (3) erfasst wird.
